The project consists in the transformation of an urban house into two social housing units. A larger dwelling takes place on the ground and first floors. A smaller unit is located on the second floor.

The logic of the original plan is preserved. It is magnified by targeted interventions with multiple effects. A new staircase is introduced between the ground and the first floors. It establishes a spatial connection between the first two levels and brings natural light into the heart of the project. It also provides an entrance and reception area for the lower duplex.

A large dormer is added to the roof. It enhances the composition of the rear façade, facilitates the internal organisation of the dwelling and offers new views and light.
